Hi, I'm new to Titanium and to app development, so sorry for trivial questions :) I'm currently testing my apps with Genymotion, and I would like to know how reliable are device emulators compared to physical devices.
In other words (and in your opinion), if I test an app on, let's say, Genymotion emulating a Galaxy S4 - 4.4.4 API 19, and then I run the same app on a physical Galaxy S4 - 4.4.4, the behavior of the app on the emulator is the same on the physical device?
Some more questions:
have you ever experienced consistent different behaviors between a certain simulated device and the same physical device?
is there something like a reference about that, or some best practice about testing, or everything else I can read to get deeper about that?
any suggestion for a newbie very very frightened about testing 10 lines of code in one thousand different device/API/ecc? :D
