android development

good morning to all! im having a really hard time developing for android...my issue is that in IOS all images and buttons are can be seen and are working properly...now in android all i see is the labels that i created but not the images or button backgroundimages...and the tabs icon seem alil bit small....im currently using titanium 2.0.2GA and my Android SDK is google APIs Android 2.2 and my screen in configuration is WVGA800..i also installed the app on a galaxy s skyrocket and still shows no images or buttons...please help!
